Kick off Stoneybatter Festival with Pastry Pace – run club on a mission to lift ourselves and our community. The pace is “Pastry” so expect a chill pace with great vibes and even better people! Formed in the winter of 2023 by Stoneybatter locals Dan & Gill. Pastry Pace is a social run club on a mission to lift ourselves and our community. Spark Skills Roadshow
Bohemian FC Spark Skills alumni are excited to showcase what they’ve learned during the 8-week Spark Skills programme. This unique initiative equips participants with hands-on experience in practical, climate action skills centred in cooperation and community.
At our festival stall, you’ll find helpful tips and tricks for improving keeping your home warmer for less. We’ll also be presenting a working off-grid solar panel system that participants build during the programme. If you’re a cyclist, be sure to bring your bike along—our team will be offering bike maintenance and repair demonstrations throughout the day. If you want to learn practical skills, come over and see what’s happening and sign up to the next round of Spark Skills classes!

Now a beloved annual tradition, the Long Table is a highlight of the Stoneybatter Festival-three courses served on a beautifully laid table right in the heart of Manor Street. This is a set-menu event that begins promptly at 1pm, once the street is closed to traffic.

LGBTQIA+ guided tour of Collins Barracks
Join us for a rich and informative historical tour of the National Museum of Ireland – Collins Barracks exploring LGBTQIA+ history in the Museum’s collections. This tour views the Museum’s exhibitions through alternative lenses, bringing some hidden histories and perspectives to the fore. Focusing on objects and individuals from the 17th to the 21st century, the tour reveals a wide variety of identities, genders and sexualities along the way.

An Introduction to Collins Barracks
This tour focuses on the story of Royal Barracks (now Collins Barracks) and the lives of soldiers who lived there between 1706 until 1993. Learn about their daily activities, living conditions, drilling and marching practices and experiences going to war.
This tour will also explore the story of Collins Barracks becoming a Museum, and will introduce visitors to some of the most fascinating artefacts in the Museum’s collection. As part of this tour, visitors will also be brought to the new Harry Clarke’s-Stained Glass exhibition to see some of Harry Clarke’s earliest work.
This is a free tour; however places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Three actors present all 37 plays by William Shakespeare in a hilarious afternoon of theatre. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was London’s longest-running comedy having clocked a very palpable nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre. Join these madcap actors in tights as they weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories, and Tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter.
