Event Info
2026 Festival Launch Party – a fantastic line up of local talent – get ready to party all night!
Soft Rules – Soft Rules are a Dublin post-punk band with a grudge and the songs to back it up. Fronted by David Dee, they build tracks from the wreckage of alt-rock and new wave. Heavy where it needs to be, atmospheric where it doesn’t, and lyrically intense. The songs are preoccupied with the gap between how things are supposed to work and how they actually do.
Average Joe – Dublin rapper born in the 80s. The style of rap is definitely old-school, with dense, humorous and meaningful lyrics.
Reluctant Bob & the Lonely Lovers – The new project from singer,-songwriter and producer Robert Baker, who is joined by Mark Liepmann, Álvaro Martínez, and George Guilfoyle. Dreamager was recorded live at Black Mountain Studios in the Cooley Mountains of County Louth and features guest vocals from Katie Ryan. A reviewer recently described it as The Flaming Lips meets The Beach Boys.
Polythene Jam – A band who are inspired by George Harrison’s love for the ukulele. They sometimes play Beatles songs and sometimes play System of a Down songs and we cannot wait to see it. This one is going to be special.
Sister Wife & The Gender Balance – A three piece group featuring Emma Cafferky, Crispy Quill & Holly Pereira. They play haunting folk songs and forgotten ballads with intricate two part harmonies and banjo & slide guitar stylings.
TBL8 – they cut their teeth on the first Stoneybatter Festival, we are delighted to have them back again this year, a major highlight of the weekend!
